Chadwick Lugo Heiberg was born in the vibrant heart of New York City and raised within the rich cultural tapestry of a Jewish and Puerto Rican immigrant family. His early years took him upstate, where the forests became his playground and the land his quiet mentor. It was there, amid mossy trails that he first picked up a camera—what began as an exploration of nature soon turned toward the human face, and the stories it could hold.

By his teenage years, Chadwick’s eye for capturing beauty—both raw and refined—caught the attention of New York modeling agencies, prompting a return to the city that never sleeps. What followed was the blossoming of a career, one where art met commerce, and where his unique vision found its way into the pages of magazines and the campaigns of cutting-edge brands.

Inspired by contrasts—darkness and light, old worlds and new—Chadwick’s work is a poetic blend of mystery and modernity. He draws from the deep well of the human experience, macro life, the surreal wonder of the forest, and the ever-evolving dance between nature and technology. His photography lives at the crossroads: grounded in the present, steeped in timelessness, and always looking ahead.

He considers himself an overall artist working in various mediums of illustration and tattoo, and classical music. As well as trying various genres of photography over his now 15 year long career. Chadwick, now based in Belgium and can be  found solely focusing on how his photographic work can grow.
